Nightlife in Tel Aviv
If you are hoping for some fun during the nighttime, then you must go to Tel Aviv. Thursday and Friday nights in Tel Aviv are always fun and vibrant. Lots of noise and activity can be found at Tel Aviv. Yet you will never find yourself exposed to violence there. Perhaps the reason is because the people in Tel Aviv do not believe in excessive drinking. Sure, they might have one or two drinks. However, they rarely ever actually get to the point of being drunk. The young crowd in Tel Aviv finds it to be extremely uncool to drink too much. Therefore, they never get drunk when trying to have a good time in Tel Aviv.
Allenby Street is Tel Aviv’s main center for nightclubs and bars. Over 20 nightclubs are located there. You can find clubs that feature all different types of music—like techno or disco music. Furthermore, there are a decent amount of gay clubs in the area.
In Tel Aviv, the clubs don’t really start to liven up until 2 am. However, it usually does not get to its peak level of liveliness until 4 am. So you can plan on staying out really late at Tel Aviv.
When in Tel Aviv, you can buy alcoholic drinks at the age of 18. However, if you do happen to drink in Tel Aviv, make sure you do not go overboard. Doing so will make you seem really out of place. Therefore, do set a limit on how much you are going to drink.
